    backup

I noticed after my 7 upgrade, I now have a file in my second hard drive, it's name; WindowsImageBackup with a size of 63.2 GB. Is this something created by the upgrade of windows 7? Can I delete this? The reason for the questions are because of the free space size. It went from almost empty to almost full. Should I be concerned?

    Hello BF,

That is the folder that is created when you create a system image backup and saved it to that location. That's all. If you did not want the backup image, then you can safely delete it.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Thanks brink, just wasn't sure if I deleted it, it would some how create some problems for me later on down the road. This has been a most interesting learning curve for me, with the new build and then turn around and upgrade to 7. The real crappy part of this was the loss of my Tuneup Utilities 2009, not compatible w/7. I'm being forced to buy the 2010 version.

You're welcome. I'm sure that you get use to Windows 7 soon like you did with Vista. :)
