Windows 7: Can I make "Create System Image" use less DVDs?

mark, i got it down to 14 gb. Toshiba's built in "Media Recovery Creator" got all it down to 3 DVDs. This is what my friend, who owns the laptop wants, so that's what he gets. I warned him that DVDs are not as good as hard drives.

With system image in Windows 7 Enterprise does it create a exact duplicate of your hard disk? Right now I have 7 Enterprise and Office 2007 Activated.
