Windows 7: can i get rid of the hotfixes backup?

Windows 7 Ultimate x64

TuneUp Utilities used to have the option to clean WU backups. Windows 7 Manager (Yamicsoft) does have this options too, but you have to check it first in the option panel of "Junk File Cleaner".
(Those are paid software, still the trial version of Windows 7 Manager is fully functional for 15 days)

Obviously, if you have uninstalled a program and Ccleaner finds traces of it, it is pretty safe to delete those keys.
I was referring to making the keys before the program is installed.

windows 7 ultimate 64bit

ccleaner can rid of the hotfix backup in xp but not in w7

is not program that can i do it?

Can Hotfixes and update leftovers be deleted like Windows XP? in which folder they are saved now in windows 7? i want to check how much space is staking and if its worth the gain. I have a recently created full backup and image system just in case something goes wrong so that may not be a problem.
