I assume you mean the image of the Windows 7 install dvd? Just copy the contents of the Windows 7 disk onto an empty ntfs partition and mark it as Active. | My System Specs

Just right-click on 'computer' on the startmenu, click 'manage' then in the MMC that opens up; select 'disk management' then right-click the partition you just copied the files to and select 'mark partition as Active'.
eta; I forget final step; open up a command prompt and type; J: (change to drive letter of Windows 7 iso mounted with virtual clonedrive etc) CD boot bootsect /nt60 Y: (Y is drive letter of USB drive, again change to w.e. yours is )
Then, when you restart hit F8 during the BIOS screen (or whatever it is for the boot menu on your comp) and your usb drive should appear on the list. | My System Specs

Hi there, the best program for that is WinSetupFromUSB, you can find it here to download DataFileHost - WinSetupFromUSB_0-2-1.exe and go here to view program info on MSFN, http://www.msfn.org/board/install-US...F-t120444.html
It allows you to format you USB flash drive to what your needs are (NTFS for example), copy just the setup files on the formatted USB drive to test the booting part from it, and also add a few tools to it for multi-booting. And you can use it to copy win 7 installation files to your USB flash and use it to install win 7 after good luck.
