I have found the Free Express version works OK for making a Drive Image. http://www.paragon-software.com/free/db.html
I think Windows 7's built-in backup feature is sufficient, but I thought this would be nice for people who prefer third-party software. Thanks for the input guys.
3rd party apps. are much more flexible and with many more features.
They sometimes require ( or assume ) a little knowledge from the user - more so the Pro and Server Edititons.
I use Paragon apps. all the time ( Server Editions ) - never had a problem.
On the plus side, I did like the statistical displays it gave me when backing up and the fine-tune abilities. But it touched my bootloader and what it added never worked.
I may take a look at the free version but Symantec gave me a free copy of Ghost when I worked for one of its retail partners so it's all free to me.
I'm using Macrium Reflect full edition now and I'm quite happy with it, very fast and above all, very reliable.
