System Restore (rstrui.exe) not opening?

Hello all, after an incident with HP Support Assistant when creating a restore point failed, i decided to open up System Restore like i had done in thep revious months .

it had been enabled for some time but i dint open it for a long time until now.

the problem is nothing comes up
i use the Windows Search, i go to the file location, i use GodMode, but it still doesnt open.

in Task Mgr, the processes are there (multiple since i clicked on it a lot of times cause it wouldnt open initially)

i ended all the pprocesses related to rstrui and restarted System Restore one more time

but it doesnt open.
Help?!

Hi there, if it happened recently, then do a system restore. Or else you might need to do a Repair Install
Try safe mode with command prompt and type rstrui and see if it opens up.
