Welcome to Seven Forums Transformer. Let's start by having you fill out your system specs, including exact model# of your laptop. A Guy

You should be able to contact Samsung and order the recovery DVD to restore the laptop, perhaps even the recovery partition.

No, nothing will restore the recovery partition to a state where it can be used as intended to restore the computer. Not only have you lost the data but the partition table has been changed. Perhaps, with a lot of effort and some luck, you could use a partition editor like GPartD (Gnome Partition Editor) or similar to fix the links but it's not an easy thing to do and takes a fair bit of knowledge about the structure of the boot sector and partition table and such.

Best just to wait for the recovery DVD. Once you have it, I would strongly recommend setting up a good backup strategy so you can make an image backup of the recovery partition as well as the boot partition. A second internal hard drive or a good sized external hard drive and the built in backup tool or software like Acronis True Image would be the best way to go.

Try this to get windows booting:

    Startup Repair
Note: You may need to do startup repair 3 to 4 times.

    System Repair Disc - Create
    System Recovery Options
    Repair Install
