Cannot restore from a system image
2 weeks ago my 128 GB Corsair SSD was failing. I sent it in to be replaced. Before that I created a Windows system image and restored it to my 150GB Western Digital HDD. I just got back my new SSD yesterday and am now trying to reverse the process and create a system image to get back onto the Corsair SSD, but I am getting an error message
The system image restore failed
Error details: The disk that is set as active in BIOS is too small to recover the original systems disk. Replace the disk with a larger one and retry the restore operation (0x80042407)
The actual size of the file is only 54GB, but my worry is that since the Western Digital is 150 GB and I am trying to write to a 128 GB drive that I might not be able to do it. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance!
