Recover W7 without system image/restore?
I'll keep it short.
I have a hard disk with four partitions and Windows 7 installed on two of them.
My motherboard was damaged because of power fluctuations.
During the process of finding a new motherboard, I learned that both the Windows ran on some, while they showed the BSOD on others.
Finally, I got a new affordable and compatible motherboard, but both the Windows wouldn't start up and keep showing me the BSOD.
I borrowed a friend's hard disk, installed Windows 7 on it and accessed my hard drive.
I can see its contents and browse, copy, paste and delete data, but I can't recover my Windows, so it would work again.
So I emptied one of the non-Windows partitions on my hard disk and installed Windows 7 on it.
It's working fine, but I want to be able to recover both of my previous Windows.
Did I mention I don't have a system image of either Windows or system restore points on both of them?
