I haven't even cracked the BIOS except to set the RAM and bumped the CPU to 4000.

I have them installed and I ran them at standard up until a few days ago. I honestly couldn't hear mine run at all. On standard, they ran about 3700-4000 rpm unless I was stress testing and they went up a little bit. I recently turned them off to see if there was any difference in sound or temps......there was no difference I could tell, so they are staying off for now.

You're doing well, I thought it was like trying to learn Klingon after speaking AMD for so long. Now Haswell is a new language all over.

BTW, I got a Saber Tooth Z87 today.

Yeah Haswell sounds like a mission they have all kinds of settings one in particular Uncore ???? I seen that and was like what kind of recipe is this

Any-hoot you got yours going great ,I could of went Haswell for around the same price I got this guy for but with the questions I asked the Pros on the 3770k out weight the Pros of the Haswell chip so it was a no brainer really and I didn't make a bad choice I think I got away like a sly cat with cost and gratuity I garnished from this buy I saved almost 250.00 or more

Thanks guys, Tommy Uncore is the cache memory in the CPU, L!, L2, and L3. I think Intel likes to keep us confused. Why use the term "xHCI", they could have used USB compatibility interface?

Thank god for that Wrend, I was expecting you to hammer us lol.

For a direct speed comparison, it appears my i7 3770K is actually faster at SuperPI than the i7 3930K. This is a shot of mine at my daily OC 4.6GHz

Edit: I believe Ram plays a part in it too so maybe that helps me with 2400MHz but I would need to look into that.
