    Cheers mate :)

In a moment of madness though, I just ordered a pair of EVGA 780 ti Superclockeds. (reference coolers since the ACX's weren't available) Flap knows I'm going to be able to afford em though. Cut back on every bloody thing I guess lol and hope I can sell my current cards

(Then again, since when do enthusiasts think logically? )

I would have stuck with one card if it weren't for surround. I also opted for the superclocked because my reckoning is that they are better binned cards.

The choice was mainly one of heat. It's heading into a hot summer here and I'm already dancing around the high 90's on 100% on my top two cards. Two 780s are faster than three 670's and my board has good spacing so I'll be able to leave a slot between them. Hopefully that'll keep the heat (and noise) down.
That will be some serious GPU power there Patrick!

To give you an indication, I ran Heaven last night with a pretty decent OC on my single regular 780 at the same settings as your score and got just under 2100 points. I expect 2 x 780ti's due to scaling and heat will be pretty much twice as powerful as your current 3 card setup.

    Paul.

Damn, I like the sound of that Paul

Surround is where I wanted the IQ improvement the most. Currently single screen, I'm mostly golden - but surround was lacking. For those few titles I do play in single screen (Bf4, Arma III etc) I'd love to get back to three screens.

if not, crank the details WAY up on single screen :)

And while I haven't had any major issues with TRI - Dual is indeed the sweet spot.

Ok, this is a tricky one, I am going to create a leaderboard for this thread, the excepted scores that will be allowed to be added are on either the Extreme Preset or the exact equivalent as some some cards don't seem to like the Extreme preset in SLI or Xfire. The settings for this would be Quality (ultra), Tesselation (Extreme) AA (X8) and resolution at 1600x900.

I hope this will cater for everyone.

I am going to compile scores from the last 5 pages of this thread, if you don't see your name on the leaderboard then post it again, I cannot go through 100s of pages finding scores as it would take too long. I hope this is fair.

    Paul.

OK, I went back around 10 pages in the end, there are many names missing but it will take me too long, like I said before, if your name is missing please post a screenshot. And please remember the settings. The settings are very important if they are not as specified you will not be entered.

I will rely on the regular members to point out to new people the correct settings ok

Steve, sorry I need to ask for a screen shot from you as you were not in the last 10 pages my friend.

Paul, here's mine. Don't think that I can equal it now, the new drivers don't seem to be as quick...

Anyway, I think that I speak for the majority of us here when I say "thanks for all the hard work. It is greatly appreciated."

    Your sig is well deserved.

    Cheers, mate.
