Excellent score Steve, nice job my friend!
Edit: Oh you used Lucid, cancel the nice job bit then
OK but why? I know there are some people here who use special bioses on their cards and voltage tools to improve performance. I just used a different tool than others use. If that's wrong, it's fine with me. You know I really don't care much. I was just playing with it to see how it works. I don't like it very much right now. If I keep playing enough, I may get to where I like it. Who knows.
I have no issues with using it what so ever, but I think scores posted using it should be entered in to the sli/xfire sections as it is essentially using 2 gpus.
Well, sort of, when it works. But HD4000 is not exactly another 780. I really don't care. When I posted the score, I said what I used, so I wasn't trying to fool anybody. But, with the way Paul can overclock, if he used it he would score 50,000. My score was with the card at stock. It scored higher than my best overclocked score. Most of us have it to use if we choose so that's fair. But, some with older chipsets and boards don't have it available, so in that respect it is not fair. I think anything that gives some an advanyage over others is unfair. Something anyone can use, is fine. So, to me, because there are people who can't use Lucid Logic, it is unfair. Just like there are some who don't have bioses or other tools other than Afterburner or Precision X. But, however Paul wants to do it is fine with me. I'm not a real benchmarker. I just like to play sometimes. I've used the special voltage tools too, but have never used another bios, which I'm not convinced will work that well, but whatever is decided, I won't complain. My only feelings is something that gives someone an advantage that everyone does not have is not fair. If anyone can use it, that's fine. But, you guys decide, and I'll play it by the rules, whatever they are.
