Nice 1 mate, Nice oc too
That guy must not be too clued up aye... It's the same with any hardware enit some good, some not so good. I've seen a post on the EVGA forum where somebody couldn't overclock their Kingpin on air so even with that card it's still luck of the draw. The reply to that post from a mod was something like "an overclock is not guaranteed" I would hope it was with a £700 card though as they should be cherry picked chip's on that card.

You should be able to Solar, the CPU makes very little difference in this benchmark.

Edit: I think the one you will struggle to beat me in is 3D Mark Vantage as that is pretty CPU dependent.

Not bad mate, you can see how hard I was pushing my card to get the score I did. I think solars card is nowhere near it's limit yet. Mine does 1333mhz and I hear the TI's run much higher no problem.

Cheers chap, Yea you must have been ringing it's neck lol. That run was with just +100MHz on the core.

Nice one mate, yeah I had +730ish on the mem too which was like 1830MHz

Edit: I added your score too.

Nice oc on the mem that is enit chap.
All I did this morning was add +100, test what difference unlinking the temp, power target's and prioritizing to either does. When unlinked and priority to the temp they didn't throttle as they hit the power target before the temp target.

Solar there seems to be some discrepancies between what you are setting using your program and what GPUz is reading.
For example you have set the core to +130 which should be 1280 but GPUz is reading it as 1215. And you have the memory set to +350 which should be 2100MHz, GPUz is reading that as 1838?
The numbers don't appear to add up.

Edit: Actually the core looks right as it is going from the default clock of 1020MHz to 1150MHz and I guess you have the boost on top of that.
The memory is a little more confusing. GPUz states the Default speed for your memory is 1750MHz but with a +350MHz it is only changing it to 1838MHz
