Nice increase there Ryan, looks like the CPU OC bumped up your GPU score a few 1000 too

    Updated above.

I am sorry guys, but I just ordered this today MSI N680GTX-PM2D2GD5 GeForce GTX 680 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card - Newegg.com Also to be honest, I am not happy with my CPU score either, I think I am just going to buy a high end intel mobo and processor along with my 800...I have had it with these crappy AMD results. Oh and a better SSD, M4 Crucial is just too damn slow for me. No I am not kidding. And once I do have my Intel rig, I will pull a Paul, crank everything on highest voltage and get 5.5 at least, if the cpu and mobo burn, so what, I have had it with AMD. I will NOT buy another POS AMD wanna-be-but-couldn't-be-product. Yes I am mad. Why shouldn't I be, I spend all this money on a brand new high end board and top of the line AMD CPU and I move up 400 measly points? I didn't even move up a place, just have a higher score. No more nice raf from now on. The end.

I will wait till the 800 nvidia come out and buy one or even 2 and try this SLI craze then and a new PSU, I will use this till then.

For now a slightly higher score, but my crappy 660 is holding me back.

Also, I don't even see the point of changing my score on the board, I am more proud of a humble 6100 with a mid-line board then.....this. And just to show my distaste for AMD, I will sell this 8350 and mobo for the first offer I get, I don't care if its 50 dollars. I am not kidding either. That's what I think it's worth.

Also if you think I am some rich boy who throws his money around, I am not. I am a disabled vet with an amputated right foot and a pelvis that is in more pieces then a where is waldo picture. I don't have any real friends of a social life. I do not go out or party so I don't spend my money, I save it...what else can I do with it. I work, so yeah, I have some spare cash. And I will buy an Intel rig.

The link says OOS Ralph, how much was the 680?

I like this particular benchmark as it test both the CPU and GPU well. And I am also glad I added individual scores for both so we can see where the power is.

Your CPU score is really not bad, it scored the same as Dougs overclocked i5 and only a few K behind the i7 3820.

If you do go Intel, you really won't need to go mental with the overclocks to achieve decent scores. I know mine is a 6 core but the CPU score I got was at around 4.7GHz which is not so crazy.

Don't feel bad about AMD CPU's, they are good, they are much cheaper than Intel but obviously don't perform as well.

It was 600 dollars Paul. I really had my eye on a 4gb 680 but It required 2x8pin pci and a little more juice then my PSU can handle. If I had a better PSU, I would of ordered the titan today. I know you don't like it paul, but I do and it really is all about what each person likes right?
