Yeah what got me was the fact a 970 can hang with both so i was thinking with the price tag the two 970's would be a better choice but in the long run one card is a lot better

The 970 is so cheap I can see why people love them and at that price it's great for SLI but I always prefer a single card, easier to work with for overclocking anyway and everyone loves the single card leaderboards on here. And you have the added bonus of knocking noober down another spot on the Heaven leaderboard pmsl.

Side note- No disrespect to Ganj, I know he loves his SLI, mainly because his rig looks empty without it (his words not mine lol).
