If the email account in on a workplace computer and it's your email account your I.T. department should be able to help you.
I will ask the question again. Who's email account is it?

Call administrator of email accounts.

In case of hotmail, yahoomail, gmail... any webmail.... you can click "forgot password". Then you receive a secret question, or an email is sent to secundary mailaddress

Or is mailbox located at your internet provider? For example your provider is ZIGGO and your mailaddress is somename@ziggo.com ?

It sounds to me your workplace has a new email account. Then use your I.T. department for access for the new email account privileged. I really don't know how many times we got to keep telling you the same thing over and over. Use your I.T. Department which will work with your new email provider. We will not help you crack into a email account.

So, you couldn't access the account anyway. Solution: Create a new cpanel (whatever it is) with your new email. You don't have to use this "private" email either, create one with any of the numerous web based email providers, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc, etc.
