    Adobe Flash error

I am having trouble viewing internet videos, mainly on youtube. The browser, no matter which I use, freezes and sometimes crashes. Sometimes I get a bit of audio with a green video window. I have the latest browsers and flash player.

    (here is something strange)
Someone had recommended I reinstall my ati on-board video drivers, which I did and this process requires a reboot. After the installation reboot, it fixes the problem until the very next reboot, or until the computer goes to sleep. Then it's back to the same problem.

    I am running

    win 7 ultimate 64
    AMD phenom II x4 940
    OCZ ddr2 8GB
    gigabyte GA-MA790GP-UD4H

Even though you'e running 64-bit Windows, I just want to make sure you're using a 32-bit browser with Flash. Also, when updating Flash it's best to download Adobe's latest uninstaller to uninstall the older version first: Seven steps to update the Adobe Flash Player on Windows | Defensive Computing - CNET News . (It's an old article but the links are up to date.)

I am only using 32-bit browsers at this point...

I uninstalled firefox and flash and wiped the reg clean and it didn't solve anything.

So after reading the various forums and links, it was suggested that heat could be an issue. My apartment has been boiling hot the last few weeks, and I recently switched from water cooling to fans (temporarily). I opened up my case for a few hours and the problem is SOLVED. duh!!

I guess the process of reinstalling video drivers and rebooting gave the system just enough time to cool down a bit.

Cant wait to go back to liquid cooling!
