    google chrome


    I used a IP hider in GC and now it shows this error.how do I rectify this..I can access internet through IE8 but not in GC (note-I have already uninstalled Ip hider)

    Completely uninstall/reinstall Chrome..

    Uninstall, then go to C:\users\[username]\appdata\local and look for a folder named "Google". If you see it, delete it. Then reinstall.

    I tried reinstalling and deleting google folder but same message is displayed please help

    Did you try to delete the folder before or after reinstalling? What does the message say? I can think of a dozen that might display for various reasons

    I first deleted that folder,uninstalled it and installed it again same problem.

    Sorry, I thought you said SOME message was displayed.

    If you have indexing turned on (if you didn't turn it off, it is on) then after uninstalling Chrome, type "Google" into the start menu search bar and delete everything that appears. Then do the same thing but by typing "Chrome" into the search bar.

    EDIT: also, make sure you are doing this after uninstalling, but before reinstalling.
