    New Google Image Search?

I am running IE8 and i cannot get the new image search to come up. It still only shows the old one even if I click the link to try out the new one. It works on Firefox though. Any suggestions? Thanks

Works for me with both browsers.
    Try resetting IE8. Go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Reset.
    Then restart IE8.

Thanks but I tried that and it is still the old style. I know it isn't a big deal but I really do like the new one. Thanks

I think you may need to clear the google cookies.

    To delete only Google cookies.

Start IE, click on tools menu, click on Internet Options. On General tab, Browsing History, click on settings. Temp Internet Files, click on view files. Look for cookies with @ google names. Right click and delete them.

Honestly, I wish I could go back to the old style. I don't like the new one.

    Via Lifehacker:

If you don't like the new Google Image Search design, add:

    &sout=1

to the URL to use the the "basic" (i.e. old) version. Update your bookmarked keyword searches accordingly.

    So, for example:

    http://images.google.com/images?q=puppy

    ...would become:

    http://images.google.com/images?q=puppy&sout=1

Not a real "fix", but a workaround.

You could clear your temp internet files, but this will delete cookies as well, and for all sites. If you have CCleaner, you can untick everything but IE temp internet files, and history, and run CCleaner. You can of course run more if you wish, but untick anything you don't want deleted. It may have not been rolled out to you yet, it may take a few weeks. A Guy

P.S., I just looked, I still have the old version, and per Google it may take a while to get rolled out to everyone
