    Sound with an email


    Using windows 7 and windows live mail, is there a way to add sound so that when the recipient opens the mail he would hear what I recorded for him?

    You could add the sound file as an attachment in .MOV or .WMA or .WAV (or any other format that you know they can open). Depending on their email client a play button and progress bar may appear for them to play it in the email but more likely they will have to open the attachment in a program such as Quicktime, Windows Media Player or VLC.

    That's what I thought... In outlook express, you could add a background sound with the email as I recall.. oh well
