    Mis-spelled email addresses

In the past, it seems I have spelt mail addresses wrongly so when I start to enter my address in any drop down boxes, I now get 3 or 4 'incorrect' addresses. How can I get rid of these?
    Thanks

You might be able to delete them by going to the drop down box & using the arrow key to highlight the address then delete.

No, that doesn't do it. An example, I entered .co.uk.co.uk and now that is stuck in the list along with another couple of examples, mainly on this one site.

I seem to remember a few ago having the same problem but I forgot how to fix it!

I assume your talking about "AutoFill"? Quickest and easiest way would be to just Wipe Autofill out....

Firefox: Click Tools then "Clear Recent History"> Click Details and make sure "Forms and Recent History" are selected in the drop down menu>Click "Clear now"
    IE:
Click Safety>Delete browsing history>Make sure Forms is checked click Delete.

Don;t know about other browsers, but I assume its similar

Be warned, this will wipe EVERYTHING in Autofill, it will be like starting again

Which program are you in where this is a problem? Or are you referring to some systemic function?

    More (belated) info.
The example I gave above was on a company's website where I had to logon to my account, I was (am) using Chrome browser. Because I had mis-typed the extra .co.uk it got left on the end of my address and I couldn't see it as it extended beyond the size of the login box. So, I could no longer get into my account. I cannot remove that wrong address so if I'm not careful, it will take over again, hence I would like to remove it and others.

I have a vague recollection that someone said, a few years ago, that I had to use shift or control and something else but I forget what! I would rather try to rediscover that than wipe out all my autofill.

I think shift-del was the method in FF. But in Chrome simply the Del key should do it: Remove Form Autofill Entry - Google Chrome Help

Ahah! As someone in the link posted : Dang! Its the Delete key. I always forget about delete as I use backspace for editing. Thank you for that, problem now solved.
