| | Hearing the Windows Shutdown sound everytime I open my browser... Anyone else had this problem? Everything on my computer is running smoothly, nothing else is wrong at all, but about 90% of the time when I open Google Chrome I hear the windows shutdown sound. I've had it happen only once on another browser, which was the Firefox beta version. I haven't had this happen in IE8 or Opera. |

| Windows 7 Ultimate x86 build 7600 (XP, 98SE, 95, 3.11, DOS 7.10 on VM) + Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Lucid Lynx | This is what richc46 wanted you to do. Go to System Sounds properties, 1. Right-click on Desktop and select Personalize. 2. Click on the link named “Sounds” at the bottom of the window. |
