| | Older versions of IE in WIndows 7? Can someone please explain how can run an older version of IE on my windows 7 machine in a standalone setup, so that I continue to have IE8, but can use IE7 or (preferably) IE6 selectively for certain websites. The compatibility mode in IE8 has not worked on these troublesome sites. Thanks. (I found this and will give it a go now). |

| | Have you downloaded the latest Compatibility View List? MS regularly updates this list too via Windows Update. Note that if a site does not view properly in IE8, it is the site's fault, not IE8 as IE8 now conforms to web standards. |
