Firefox 3.6.8 or Firefox Beta 4?

Which is better and faster? :O

4.0 is faster but if you use add-ons, most of them may not work with 4.0 yet. I continue to use 3.6.8 for this reason, which is not that slow after all.

Your older addons will work with FF4.0 if you disable the compatibility check

Type about:config in your browser address bar and agree to the warning message. Now right click inside the browser, choose New –> Boolean, type the preference name as extensions.checkCompatibility.4.0b and set it to False.

Thanks for such valuable information yowanvista. Added boolean expression as you suggested. All but the IDM add-on I use work with 4.0 beta.

The newer versions of IDM supports it (Newer than IDM 5.12 build 9 )

Are you using the latest beta of FF yowanvista?

Definately Firefox 4!

I did a speedtest and firefox 4 worked out faster at 19.47mbps while firefox 3.6 was only 17.87.

Thats a considerable difference!
