| | Ie 8 wont load some web sites hello all im having this ongoing problem with Ie8. Icannot access certain webpages ie facebook, hotmail and some microsoft pages. With facebook its only the homepage that doesnt load i get waitingfor http://www.facebokk.com/home.php? and half the page loads and that it. With hotmail i get waiting for http://hotmail.com and thats it no page at all And microsoft pages are hit and miss. I have tried all the usual tricks cleared out temp files cookies etc. Ran ccleaner. Ran antivirus and malwarebytes and nothing. I also have google chrome installed and that works fine will open all those pages and can access them from another computer so its this laptop for sure Any help greatly appreciated |

| | I had a mysterious problem like that for several websites all Microsoft: Microsoft.com, msn.com, hotmail.com, Windows Update. I finally decided that since it affected all computers on the network I'd reset my router and switch. That fixed it. |

| | Hi Roncerr Ive tried resetting my router but still no good. I also have a mobile broadband modem whick i use when im out and about and i have the same problems with that which says to me its a settings problem Thanks |
