hello all
im having this ongoing problem with Ie8. Icannot access certain webpages ie facebook, hotmail and some microsoft pages.
With facebook its only the homepage that doesnt load i get waitingfor http://www.facebokk.com/home.php? and half the page loads and that it. With hotmail i get waiting for http://hotmail.com and thats it no page at all And microsoft pages are hit and miss. I have tried all the usual tricks cleared out temp files cookies etc. Ran ccleaner. Ran antivirus and malwarebytes and nothing. I also have google chrome installed and that works fine will open all those pages and can access them from another computer so its this laptop for sure

I had a mysterious problem like that for several websites all Microsoft: Microsoft.com, msn.com, hotmail.com, Windows Update. I finally decided that since it affected all computers on the network I'd reset my router and switch. That fixed it.

Ive tried resetting my router but still no good. I also have a mobile broadband modem whick i use when im out and about and i have the same problems with that which says to me its a settings problem
