same here no difficulties whatsoever...it runs here ever since Mozilla put it into the auto-update queue.
Like Phone Man suggested most likely a problem with one of the add ons.

    No problems here with 3.6.10
A clean firefox profile with no addons might fix the problem

Problem solved, FF 3.6.10 is working

    hi !

    i made a BIG mistake !

i have several Firefox-versions in different folders.
but i run Firefox on a RAM-disk, so i upgraded and then copied the whole folder from harddisk to RAM-disk.

    then all my problems started...

since Firefox upgrades in the folder itīs started from, the upgrade was done on the RAM-disk !

    i didnīt realize that so i actually down-graded, from 3.6.10 to 3.6.9.
everything would have been ok if i had copied in the other direction instead, from RAM-disk to harddisk.

the folder on the harddisk was named Firefox 3.6.8 but contained 3.6.9 which has caused problems before,
thatīs why i have used an older version instead.

so actually it was the dowgrade to 3.6.9 that caused all my problems, not 3.6.10.
i also have the folder with all settings for Firefox on the RAM-disk, which may have contributed to the problems since that folder contained settings for 3.6.10 after my downgrade.

anyway, iīm running 3.6.10 now and so far i havenīt noticed any problems at all,
i recoved from "sleep" about an hour ago without problems.

thanks for all replies, it helped knowing you didnīt have any problems, that lead me to check what version i was actually using.
