How to uninstall this "Mozilla Firefox" Extension"?

    Hello!
I solved many problems regarding PC, posting this forum. So i think this time you can help me.
I use "Firefox 3.6.10" i installed "Java run time environment 6.0.20" my PC. After few weeks left in installing i updated it to 6.0.21" now Firefox has both extension. So how do i uninstall old java run-time environment extension. There's no uninstalling icon in Firefox "Add-on" window. So how do i uninstall this type of extension. I have this type of 2 add-ons in Firefox. i mean i have 2 add-ons without uninstalling icon.

    1. NOKIA Firefox synchronizing extension.
    2. Java console 6.0.20.

So please tell me how do i uninstall these 2 add-ons in Firefox 3.6.10.

You need to uninstall Nokia and Java software in the Control Panel (Add/Remove Programs).

Try uninstalling the extensions in Safe - Mode.
If you are unable to uninstall an extension, even after restarting Firefox in Safe Mode:

Exit Firefox, go to your profile folder and open the "extensions" directory. Each directory there is an extension. Remove the directory that corresponds to the extension you want to uninstall. (To uninstall ALL extensions, remove the entire "extensions" directory)

If an add-on directory there does not have a meaningful name, look inside it for its "install.rdf" file. Open that file in a text editor (such as Notepad) to see which extension the directory contains. Alternatively, in the parent folder, "extensions.rdf" contains a list of extensions and their names.

    Hope this helps

Yeah, but IMO it's the only way to remove these extensions. Once you install Nokia PC Suite/OVI, a Firefox extension would also be installed just like Java. So if you uninstall PC Suite, the FF extension would be uninstalled.

The OP has two Java extensions. Removing one could remove the whole extension from FF or could cause problems.

OP, if I were you I would just DISABLE the Nokia and the Java extension. I need Nokia software in order to transfer files from my phone to my PC and synchronize content but I don't need the extension.

Open Firefox. Click Tools > Add-ons. Under extensions/plugins, locate the extension/plugin you would like to disable, click on it and click 'Disable' and restart Firefox.
