| | can you take a screen shot using the snipping tool and post a shot of it. In mine I have file, edit, view, go, tools, actions and help. We are talking about the menu bar...just the tool tab is missing correct. If so, it could be some sort of corruption and a uninstall/reboot and reinstall might be in order. |

| | I got it Your idea of an uninstall/install was good. When I went to the uninstall button it gave me the option to repair. The repair brought back the tool button |
