Windows Live Mail Menu Bar I just downloaded the latest version of WLM, Build 15.4.3502.0922. I know that MS hides the menu bar by default. From the online resources I've seen, there should be a dropdown menu near the "?" at the right of the toolbar (circled area). In the past, bringing down that menu lets you show the menu bar. However, this build apparently doesn't have that option. The menu bar items do appear on the left (arrow), but I want them to appear in the traditional menu bar.
Alt-M, supposedly toggles the dropdown menu, but it doesn't work (at least for me they don't).
Does anyone know how to restore the menu bar in this latest WLM build?
What did I miss?
Thanks. | My System Specs |

Are you referring to the Ribbon? If so, right click on the menu bar you see (Home, Folders, View...) and uncheck Minimize the Ribbon. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Woz Special (home-built) OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Steve Ballmer Signature (jealous???) I'm not referring to the ribbon. That's different. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell Studio XPS 8100 OS Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP 1 CPU Intel Core i7 860 @ 2.8 GHz Motherboard Dell 0T568R (CPU1) Memory 8.0 GB Dual Channel DDR3 @ 664 MHz (9-9-9-24) Graphics Card nVidia GeForce GTS 240 Sound Card M-Audio Delta Audiophile 2496 Monitor(s) Displays Dell 2407WFP Screen Resolution 1920x1200 Hard Drives 977 GB Western Digital WDC WD1001FAES-75W7A0 (SCSI) Antivirus MSE, MalwareBytes Anti-Malware Browser Firefox Other Info Microsoft Security Essentials, Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird. Sorry Arthur, but the traditional Menu bar in the older Windows Live Mail has been removed in Windows Live Mail 2011 and replaced by what you have pointed out in your screenshot and the ribbon bar instead. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Self built custom OS 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 & Windows 8 Enterprise CPU Intel i7-3930K 3.2 Ghz (O/C 4 Ghz) Motherboard ASRock X79 Extreme11 Memory 32 GB (8GBx4) G.SKILL DDR3 Quad PC3-19200 2400MHz Graphics Card Sapphire HD5870 Eyefinity 6 2GB Sound Card SB Recon 3Di Integrated Chip Monitor(s) Displays 3x 27" Asus VE278Q Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5500 Revolution Mouse Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5500 Revolution PSU OCZ Series Gold OCZZ1000M 1000W Case Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition Cooling Corsair Hydro H100 Hard Drives 256GB OCZ Vector

OK, Brink. Thanks for clarifying this. Yes, that's disappointing, but there must be a way to rearrange things so that it's almost back to the way it was. I'll work on that.
And there's always Thunderbird. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell Studio XPS 8100 OS Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP 1 CPU Intel Core i7 860 @ 2.8 GHz Motherboard Dell 0T568R (CPU1) Memory 8.0 GB Dual Channel DDR3 @ 664 MHz (9-9-9-24) Graphics Card nVidia GeForce GTS 240 Sound Card M-Audio Delta Audiophile 2496 Monitor(s) Displays Dell 2407WFP Screen Resolution 1920x1200 Hard Drives 977 GB Western Digital WDC WD1001FAES-75W7A0 (SCSI) Antivirus MSE, MalwareBytes Anti-Malware Browser Firefox Other Info Microsoft Security Essentials, Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird.
