    Safari 5.0.2 on Windows 7


    Hello, right now I'm using IE 8 as my browser, and I heard Safari can run on Windows now, so hows dose it perform? Is it good on Windows 7?

    I'm sorry, but that site is extremely outdated and therefore obsolete.

    Safari runs very well on Windows. After Opera and Chrome, it's the fastest browser available. Although, unlike most other browsers, it's not very customizable.

    thought I would try it again for grins. one thing that bugs me about chrome, as happy as I am with stability/speed/features, is I don't really trust 'em.... [look at their maneuvers in china] - I have noticed that doing a personal-info cleanup on Chrome is never really complete. a LOT of your personal info and cache of activities etc is still there after using their builtin deleting function. Ccleaner does a little bit better but still leaves a ton of info behind. Want to check Safari in this respect.

    My previous use of Safari a few months ago showed it to be very fast - on my rig it was on par with Chrome - but it was prone to timing [or something] errors several times a day where it would miss a connection - just lost... spinning away trying to reconnect to the intended site
