Any one who downloads from rapidshare and is tired of waiting check out skip screen. Yeah I know there are downloaders but I also use this.
Thanks! Never heard of it before. I use jDownloader for but for a single file this is great!

I hope all of you people using adblockers realize that there are webmasters all over the world starving to death because of your actions
The more hungry ones are using code to get around that problem.

I have options to deactivate the adblock on most viewed sites like this 4rum since the ads might not be that annoying. Just hate some pop up

    Thanks for the replies :),

The adblock plus and download status bar sound sweet.

I'll have to check All these out.

The ads 99.9% never get any attention/money from me anyway, so I just assume not see them.

Maybe on a sub-conscience level there affective. A little subliminal action go'n on that I don''t realize. lol

You don't need to click peoples ads, quite a few are CPM (pay per impression)
I feel your pain. I used to run a massive portal, bandwidth costs alone were enough to break my bank in no time. I refused to run ads for a year, finally tried AdSense and couldn't stand it. There's a lot of options out there for ads, none of them are good. Eventually, had to call it quits.

Let's hope that doesn't happen here.

How about something for better cookie handling?
Something not overly complicated, but effective on blocking most unwanted personal tracking. Basically block all the cookies that are not needed to access the page? Currently have it set to block 3rd party, but what that will stop now-a-days ???

I just noticed something I like about FF and the taskbar peak. It only shows views of each instance of a ff window thats open and not every tab. When you have multiple tabs open, it shows the one thats focused on. I like that. Not as overwhelming when a lot of tabs are open.

Here's the ones I run at the moment

    Must Have Firefox AddOns-addons.png

The ones I "must Have" other than the adblock are ...

All in one Sidebar - puts everything (downloads, addons, bookmarks), into an auto hide panel on the side of the screen.

Compact menu - Puts all the menu options onto one button

Toolbar buttons - gives a wealth of buttons for the toolbar

The sidebar is sweet, lots of function & great info, for example right now its showing info about this web page.

    Thnx
