@ Max don't worry about it plenty of posts in this thread by people who find Chrome runs faster on their PC than Opera personally I find Opera the fastest.
Everybody has a unique combination of hardware & software or maybe your install of Windows is newer with less problems maybe there is one of our PC's has some malware or viruses that affect the scores.
variations will occur depending on setups and background processes.

I don't know about less problems, but I do know that the original copy of Windows 7 that was installed on my HP HPE-270f runs different and acts different than the copy of Windows 7 in the rescue discs that I burned from it and later installed. Although I have both a 26 GB Windows System Image and a 7.9 GB Macrium Reflect Image of the original version of Windows 6.1 7600 I prefer to run the way that second version runs my computer.

One thing that I do know through a variety of on demand Malware scanners is that my computer is Malware free and has a most excellent chance of remaining that way with Opera 11 Alpha running in the virtual space of Sandboxie and all downloads from the Internet being scanned with Virus Total and/or Malwarebytes and Hitman Pro Cloud Scanner plus the multi-layered defenses of Comodo 2011 with its top testing HIPS, Cloud Malware Scanner, Cloud Behavior Scanning and Automatic Sandboxing protecting my computer Malware just doesn't have an opportunity to infect it...

Congrats you have an excellent defense strategy .
I'm a big fan of Comodo Internet security Suite which also has a sandbox built in for suspicious files, its kept me safe for about three years now the latest version is a lot easier to use now than it used to be.
I also recommend Comodo System-Cleaner which does a good job tidying up the registry.
I also use Sandboxie occasionally when i need an extra layer of protection .

Opera 11 Alpha is actually quite nice, been testing it out for the past few days.

Nice. I've been using Opera as my primary browser since about 2001, and really never felt the need for extensions. Opera has pretty much everything I need out of the box itself, but it would be interesting to play around with extensions...atleast as an exercise.

I just hope Opera doesn't start stripping out the awesome built-in features of the browser and replace them with extensions.

At first I only used Opera in Sandboxie occasionally as you do, but eventually I learned how to set up direct file access such as bookmarks, speed dial and passwords between Opera running in the virtual space of Sandboxie and the 'real' computer and set Opera as forced to run in Sandboxie and now Opera 11 Alpha runs so transparently in Sandboxie that I don't even notice its running in the virtual sandbox until its time to run the downloads through Virus Total before importing them.
