Windows 7 - Pop-Ups in IE9!

I am getting pop-ups like crazy in ie9, how do I stop them?

By default the pop-up blocker is set to on, but lets check yours to be sure.

Go to the Tools menu (the little gear in the upper right corner).
Click on internet options.
Click on privacy tab.

In the middle of that tab you will see pop-up blocker, turn on pop-up blocker should be checked.

Now, click on settings.
At the bottom of that box you will see, blocking level.
This can be set to low; medium, or high, medium is the default.

If the pop-ups are still unbearable try switching the medium to high.
Click on the down arrow and select high
