In Live Mail - How to SEND a Page or Link?

Give me back Outlook Express -PLEASE!
W'7 LIVE - you'd think would have ALL the same bells and whistles and then some BUT "NO WAY!" I HATE W'7 Essentials and them telling you that you can choose which parts of it you want to download and then they go ahead and download the whole XXX thing anyway. I have had the NEW Essentials download in my update "box" for a long time now - so NOT want ALL of that CRAP on my system.

Anyway - to the one thing that has had me HOT before and does once again but this time I am seeking help with it: REMEMBER in Outlook Express when you wanted to send someone a Page or a Link....all you had to do is click on Page [above] and choose either choice and walaa it was off and running. NOW .. . I choose Page, and come to "Send via Windows Live" , click, and stupid page comes up that I don't have a in box, so I give up, today I tried to even setup a "INBOX"???? and became impossible. So - once again cannot send things I'd like to share with friends and relatives. WHAT the "H" is wrong with their Programmers to DESTROY the old simple and easy solution to this NICE feature????

PS - can someone PLEASE recommend a BETTER E-Mail program that would replace Windows Live Mail?

In the new live mail on the new email page (one you send message on) click on insert and choose what you want to attach.

I also miss the old outlook express. What I do if I want to send a web site or web page that I am viewing is I right click on the URL address that highlights it and brings up a menu.Left click copy then go to new message and in the body of the message just right click on any empty space and elect paste and it will put your live link to the web page. Works for me. Good luck to you.

I'm not using live mail nor IE, so don't know will this work. You can try it, its for IE8, you should be able to send links and highlighted text.
Send with Windows Live Hotmail - Add-ons Gallery
    cheers
EDIT: Send Text and Links via Windows Live Hotmail in IE 8 - How-To Geek

It almost sounds like you don't have the Mail component of Windows Live Essentials installed. In my case it says "send page by email" or "send link by email" in IE8 (as long as those options are not greyed out). They will be available if WLM is installed and the last option in Default Programs is chosen "...computer defaults"/custom and IE8 and WLM are specifically selected (not "my current...").
