removing/deleting shortcuts to prevent startup
hi, thanks,
What I meant, and what actually seems to have worked , was deleting the shortcut to Live Mail from the list of All Programs in the Start Menu and from the task bar.
I now have the Messenger icon in the task bar to log on to my Live Account which will open on Messenger after log on and allow me to go to my inbox (which will take me to Live Mail; I actually prefer using hotmail through a shortcut on my desktop).
A short cut in the task bar or in the menu list will cause an immediate log on to the Live Mail Inbox (requiring a password but bringing the inbox page into view behind the log on panel).
I think this has solved it for the time being, but ofcourse there needs to be some other way to be able to keep my shortcuts without compromising my privacy !
