Saved links in favorites File won’t open

When I save “some” web pages in my Favorites File, I go back to double click on them, and they don’t open. Using IE 7 or 8

Why is that and how can I fix this?

Try this
Tools
Internet Explorer
Advanced
Reset
This removes all the addons which may be the cause of the problems
Addons can be easily reinstlled as needed.

It may be a conflct.

IE wont remember passwords?

Do not fool around with the registry.
