Live Mail crash
Last night I experienced a system crash while in Windows Live Mail then a second on reboot. After a successful re-boot all my email from all accounts was gone.
Searching throught C:\ I found the email store folder and can see all my emails in a folder: Windows Live Mail> Backup> Storage folders (1)> Recovered Items>11-14-2010 29>(account name)> Inbox.
They are windows live .eml files, but I can find no way to recover them into windows live.
I backed up all the store folders then tried renaming the folder to "storage folders" without the (1) I've tried copying the files to appropriate directories with no success, and I tried importing the emails into WLM but it says "No messages can be found in this folder or another application is running that has the required files open"
I have tried copying the files to a folder called test to dis-associate the folder name from WLM but still get the same message.
Any suggestions on how to retrieve these messages from the "Recovered Messages" folder
