    IE9 Search

I thought I would share this. I just thought it was odd.
Two rigs almost identical. MB and operating systems same only diff is CPU.
Dl'd and loaded IE9 9.0.7930.16406 Beta on first machine. Browser appeared to be fine. Detected no other problems with OS. I didn't like searching from the address bar so I installed the Bing Bar. Had a little trouble but got it to work via uninstall and reinstall. Seems to be working (at least 12hrs.)
Went to second machine and installed. Could not search, came up with "could not find window all the time". Tried to load the Bing Bar. Install finished with no warning. Call up browser and no Bing Bar. Still can't search. After a couple more tries at uninstall and reinstall, still got same results. So I DL'd 9.0.8027.6000 for 64 bit and installed. Works fine, I can search now. Bing Bar still won't install correctly. I can live with that I think until MS does some more work on it.

    Shawn,
Downloaded that 35mb file with the hope of an offline installer. But see, how sarcastic it can be at moments...

No idea how much data dload is involved and if u quit, start all over again...

EDIT: Seems that fate has a funny way too to play with us. Few seconds before, i was like but now

The installer will always check and download newer versions and updates despite having downloaded the full installer
