The RC will only have bug fixes and small improvements in the GUI

MS promise many things - but that's the first I've heard of that one too.

As for the 32 bit or the 64 bit versions... x64 will only run on a 64 bit operating system. The 32 bit will run on either operating system. Browsing a webiste is not "bit" related, just bandwidth. I look forward to the next release and comparing it to Chrome. At the moment it is a close toss-up as to who is listening to users likes or dislikes. I run both, often side-by-side, just to see who is really listening to my preferances. At least Chrome has a progress bar to show the status of pages loading.

This has been fixed in the RC, don't worry

Anyone possibly have any info of whether installing the RC would still bug out the gadget platform (like the leaked build)?

This is not actually a bug in IE9 but rather in the gadgets, when installing IE9, the installer will also update some IE components used by some outdated gadgets, its up to the gadget devs to fix this

Since installing the leaked version I am consistently having errors when browsing, does anyone else have same problem .. my browser continually shuts down. I am running the 64 bit version. It seems to happen mostly when trying to access Yahoo mail.

    Hello Loquacious,

I would recommend to uninstall the leaked version then, install the 9 9.0.7930.16406 beta IE9, then install it's separate update. This one is working good for me.
