Java Installation and update are helpful
Hi,
my previously mentioned problems with ie9rcx64 and some flash sites (autodesk.com) disappeared after installing the latest java update (24).
hope this helps in some other cases too.

Here is a working inline spell checker for IE9, works on IE9 x64 too
Speckie - The spell checking solution for Internet Explorer
It doesn't seem to be working for me
at least not here on SF, haven't tried it anywhere else yet...
EDIT: works on facebook... guess I'll keep this alongside ieSpell
REP for this!
Speckie did not work for me at all. I tried it on evewry web page I went to. It just did not work even ounce. I did not even see anything about spelling at all. Even wen I highlight and right click. I really want something like this. I loved the one that came with chrome.
I think the installer it uses when you have it do the suto one does not work right. I have 64 bit. But when I did the suto one it did 32 bit. Then it said it did not install right. So I went and did the 64 bit one by it self. It installed fine. But it did not work. I think it is the installation it self that needs some work. I would really like the program though. I think that a warning or something should be put next to it on the list. Seems like a lot of people have problems with it.
Speckie is crashed my IE 9 64 bit when I enabled the plugin. Opened OK after that though? I also get an "Exception raised! Automation server can't create object" message when I try to run it in IE 9 64 bit. Seems to work OK in 32 bit IE 9 though, its underlining misspelled words. This time I tried the auto installer, the first time i used the individual installers.
Shouldn't it just update IE9 with windows update? If not please be kind enough to tell me exactly how I would go about updating IE9. I know I could lok up the newest version and download it. But that sounds a little overboard for a simple update. I amnot 100% sure. But I think windows updated updated IE9 for me the other times. I do not remember having to download it other than switching from IE8.
