    Opera 11, Beta

    Features & download here:
    Opera 11 Beta

I had tried a couple of the Alpha releases & was very impressed. Had them installed on a 2nd hd.
This Beta, I installed as an update over 10.63
    No problems yet.
    Speedy !

Opera 11 is a big improvement from 10.6x
There is already a thread for Opera 11
    Opera 11.0 Alpha out

Thanks for this post, I have been waiting to try out the beta release and see if it has any improvements over the alphabuild with which I had some annoying issues.
I already love how tab stacking works, it's very efficient. Can't wait to try this out.

Beta would have deserved it's own thread, not wanting to drag the alpha threads off topic.

Love the tab stacking but would like tabs opened from within the group to stay inside group.
Pinned tabs are great love the shrinking.

Mouse gestures are now pretty good apart from downwards at 160 degrees closes tab
& downwards at 190 degrees switches to last visited tab.

Biggest problem for me is crashing on starting , I've had to create a temp folder to bookmark all open pages before shutting down.

Even though it's now in beta, the issues I had in alpha builds are still there (flash), and I still can't have even one extension working. lol

Strange.. I don't seem to have any of the problems you've mentioned and I also don't experience crashes on startup. I do on exit, but they've decreased the amount of crashes significantly in the last few builds.

Try a fresh install by installing as a Stand alone App (USB)
& see if you still have problems.

That was the first thing I did when I downloaded Opera. Didn't want to have registry entries and other files in the %appdata% folder(s), so I tried the portable install first.

No help needed, I don't think I'll be changing my mind about Opera, more so since I'm now quite satisfied with IE9.
