    Google Chrome 8 Stable Build Updated


    Today the Google Chrome stable build has been updated from 7.0.517.44 to 8.0.552.215.

    Mine updated too, but keep clear of the latest dev if you have GPU rendering enabled. It crashes on startup.


    UPDATE: Dev now works ok with the GPU

    The new built in PDF viewer you can set it as your default PDF for viewing PDF doc's offline by right clicking on a PDF document then select "Open With" and navigate to chrome.exe

    It's not actually 'automatic'.

    • Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
    • Select About Google Chrome.

    You could always download the web installer from google.com/chrome again.
