Windows 7 - no more nag warnings; Please.

no more nag warnings; Please.

example = IE9
not all web page content is shown by default,
requiring me to answer a frightful warning balloon
each time I launch a page...like Google Docs,
before the page will load.

my index finger is sore from this nonsense
and in my dreams I mumble 'yes', over and over
to khaki dressed individuals
"are you sure you want to close this window? maybe, but are you quite sure,
and do you really really want to delete that file? answer 'OK' or 'No'."

someone, please, make it go away.system wide.
like, I seriously doubt Bill's index finger is sore.

And, happy waffle day!

Jim

You could just a different (arguably better) browser, like Chrome or turn off the reminders.

well, I'm using everything Google.
but Chrome won't copy and paste in Google docs with a mouse click and this continues to make a difference to me as I don't like being tied to a keyboard. nor Firefox, nor Opera. so IE.
I'm having various troubles with all my browsers for some reason...like Firefox wants to save .jpg as .html pages.....Chrome misplaces the cursor in Google Docs....and the fun goes on...

thanks,

Jim

The latest beta version of Chrome may have fixed that issue.

To reduce the nags system wide you can tone/turn down the UAC** settings by going to the Action Centre via the Control Panel.

If you are reasonably confident in being able to rapidly spot something "different" happening with your PC then you can (as I have) disable the UAC setting. But you'll never be warned of any changes that Windows doesn't agree with (to me, that's a good thing).
