Windows Live Mail problem

Hi folks I have win 7 x86 ultimate and every time I start live mail I get the following message Please wait while windows configures live mail, then mail starts. I do not see why it needs to configure each time (maybe only 2 mins apart)

Is this supposed to happen and if not does anyone know how to fix it?

Thanks in advance

Are you going to mail.live.com to use Hotmail via your browser or are you using the downloaded mail client called "Windows Live Mail"?

If it's WLM all I can say is it shouldn't do that. Go to Programs and Features, and do a repair of "Windows Live Essentials". It should repair the installation of whatever components of Essentials you have installed, including Mail.

As far as I know I am using WLM. I tried a repair as suggested but no change. Any other ideas?

I am a bit worried about doing anything to WLM in case I lose my emails etc
