| | IE9 vs Silverlight Does IE9 work with Silverlight or vice versa? I had IE9 installed and liked it until I tried Netflix and found Silverlight problems. Went back to IE8 and got it going again. I was not sure about which version of IE9 to install at the outset. There were of course two choices x64 and x86. Picked the x64 as I use 7 x64. Should I have tried the x86? Was not sure whether the download choices referred to the OS or the version of IE9. Confusion reigns at this point. Any and all thoughts appreciated? |

| | Outlander: Silverlight is MicroSoft's answer to Flash (Adobe). IE9 is still in Beta, so any problems with it are to be expected. If you want problem-free operation, stick with the latest stable version of your browser and the latest stable version of Silverlight. Personally, I run Firefox with Silverlight plug-in to watch NetFlix movies- crossed-fingers- knock on wood- no problems so far... |
