    hotmail in windows 7

I opened my hotmail account in my grandsons computer to test his email etc. I've read that I must cancel my account to remove it from his system. My calender and address book is also showing.
Is there some other method to remove the account from his Windows 7 ?

If i'm reading this right, you don't need to tamper with your HotMail account.
All you should need to do is remove the cookie that it dropped on his system.
Do you know how to do that?
If not, what browser are you using?

Another option is to log in to your HotMail account on his computer.
When you do, be sure the check boxes asking to remember passwords, names, etc, are NOT checked.
    Then log back out.

I can't find a cookie for Hotmail. I have gone to Windows Life HELP in explorer 9 and they will cancel the account but will hold my Hotmail account name and i can re establish it after the cancellation...... something like that.

Something doesn't seem right. I assume that you and he have different "Live IDs". If he logs in with his own ID and password he can only see his own data. After you "log out" using his pc if he (or anyone else on any computer in the world) logs in with your ID and password then (and only then) will your data be visible.

Ah.. I think we maybe getting close. Yes we have different live ID . What I haven't done is log into his hotmail account as i don't have his password, as yet. The computer is a Xmas gift so i dare not ask for his PW . On Xmas day we'll give it a try and it does make sense.
I had used my Hotmail Account just to test all the setups on a new unit....Thanks for your input.

It should be simple then, go into tools > Safety > Delete Browsing History, check everything and click Delete. You are then done.
