    Opera Gestures: Top page/Bottom page?

I would like to give Opera another try with 11.0, but I have become addicted to two simple gestures Scroll page bottom/top in "All-in-One Gestures" in Firefox.

This lets me gesture up/down and hit page top/bottom instantly. It is totally addictive.

I tried editing Opera Mouse gestures but it doesn't seem to have this as an option.

Why not just use the Home & End keys on the keyboard instead ?

Because I want it as a mouse gesture and I already have it as a mouse gesture in other browsers.

FF - flick - instant page bottom.

Opera, stop what I was doing with mouse, switch to other hand, find home or end, push it.

The first way is vastly superior. I am surprised that Opera that started the mouse gestures trend is missing this simple, awesome gesture.

Its not surprising that Opera does not have gestures for Home & End as defaults as there are dedicated keys on the keyboard .
Right click & Space scrolls a page (Right click shift Space for scroll page up.

You have to edit a copy of the mouse gestures in Preferences>Advanced>Shortcuts then duplicate the Opera standard mouse setup > edit the duplicate & click on Application >select the gesture you want to change( or enter a new combo) double click on the right under Actions and type go to & select from the possible actions in the drop down.

Yes I know. I did that to edit, but page top/bottom(home/end) is not among the options you can choose when you edit.

I don't care that it isn't there by default. I care that it isn't even in the giant list of options you can edit in.

    Excellent.

Many thanks. I searched for top/bottom/home... I missed goto start...

    Working now.

I have my favorite gesture back...

Opera 11 is looking pretty good.

Glad to help , if you want to change or create a lot of gestures you can edit the mouse gestures.ini copy directly.
Menu>Help>About> & copy the path to opera prefs.ini & paste it into Windows Explorer > open the mouse folder & open
standard_mouse (1) (1).ini , remember Opera has to be closed before you save.

If you are happy with what you have, that is what counts, but I never use gestures at all, because I never disciplined myself to them. I have the "Go to the top of the page" and "Go to the bottom of the page" buttons as found as the first items, in the first section of this page:

Opera Browser Wiki :: Custom Buttons to Drag'n'Drop into your Opera

Look around and you will probably find other buttons that you will like also.
