Windows 7: Email will not send messages in outbox

I'm running windows 7 and use Windows Live mail. Suddenly, when I try and send an email, it goes to my outbox but will not be sent. I get an error msg and when I click on the Task tab, I see all my emails I've attempted to send with a message that sending failed. I can receive incoming just fine. Any ideas?

Sometimes a single file with a problem can "clog" the outbox. Try removing the oldest and then resend the rest.

Thanks ZigZag. My wife had tried to email a pic from Picasa to someone and once I removed that particular one, all the other were sent. Many thanks for you help. Have a safe and prosperous New Year !

I had a similar problem. By contacting SkyDrive I learned that my account had been suspended. I had sent a picture (photo mail) that they weren't too happy about. As you know, the pictures sent on Live Mail stay on a server somewhere for up to 3 months.

You might want to check with Sky Drive. All other emails would send fine except for the photo emails!!!!!
