    Tcp/ip connection terminated

I am trying to get Windows Live Mail up and running. I have set up my a/c name and password successfully. I am now told I have to download files. When I click to download it starts and then says the TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly terminated. I have NO lack of memory....have only used a tiny fraction on my new Dell laptop, so that's not the reason. Help appreciated.

Probably networking, or configuration. Can we get your network setup and the ports that you have for WLM??

Are you using Kaspersky? If yes, Add it to its exclusions.

How were you told and by whom? Usually one gets an error message if the account is set up wrong or email server can't be accessed but certainly nothing to click on to download unless it's a virus trying to fool you into downloading something.
