    Small Screen Image in Firefox

    I've got a MSI GX660 laptop running Win 7 64bit that has a native screen resolution of 1920 x 1080.

When using Firefox the information in the browser only takes up the middle third of the screen (portrait way). I can use the CTRL and + key to zoom in but find that it only stays at that zoom level for web pages I've already viewed. If I view a web page not previously viewed I have to go through the CTRL + process each time.

Is there something I am missing?? With IE I'm able to set the zoom at 140% which is perfect and stays at that for any pages I view but find IE a lot slower and prone to crashes.

    Any help is appreciated

    Hi, kersey! :)

Which version of FireFox are you running?

If you're running 3.x.x, use this add-on (Default Zoom Level). If your running beta 4.x, use the referenced add-on but you'll also have to install the Add-on Compatibility Reporter.

Many thanks my friend, am using 3.6.13, have installed the add-on and all is well.

I am now able to use my favourite browser again...cheers

Wonderful! :) Gotta love those people that make the FF browser even greater than it is out of the box.

LOL, Jerry! Don't worry, I'm following close behind you in that aspect. Don't stop too soon, with my eyesight, I might run into you!
